Overview
Essential Training
All training courses offered by Andy Guest Jetters and Rioned are Water Jetting Association (WJA) approved and certificated, accredited by City & Guilds (C&G) and recognised by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). The courses are run by Jetmasters. A certificate will be awarded for each practical course successfully passed by candidates. To be valid, they MUST be accompanied by an in-date Safety Awareness Certificate / Photocard. Certificates for all courses are issued by the Water Jetting Association. Delegates must pass a 20 question multiple-choice test at the end of the course. The Water Jetting Safety Awareness course must be retaken every three years to retain registration with the WJA.

Day 1 Training | Safety Awareness
Health and Safety within the water jetting industry is of paramount importance. Trained staff will have a greater awareness and appreciation of safe working practices with high-pressure water jetting equipment. Councils, insurance companies, water utilities and major contractors all demand that staff have the correct training and hold valid Certificates.
The one-day course covers the following areas:

- Jetting Equipment – Nozzles

- Jetting Equipment – Pressure Controls
- Jetting Equipment – High-Pressure Hoses

Day 2 Training | Drain & Sewer Cleaning
The WJA accredited course provides trainees with a full appreciation of drain and sewer cleaning techniques and the problems that may be encountered. Instruction is given on the correct use of pressures, nozzles and accessories, along with techniques to overcome difficulties and ensure tasks are carried out safely and efficiently. Following the theoretical session in the classroom, the trainees move outside to undertake practical exercises.
